WHAT WE PROVIDE

Our Mission
High Falls Speech Therapy Center, LLC is committed to improving the lives of individuals with communication disorders and to providing education to clients, caregivers, and the community so that our clients can reach their full potential.
We are committed to providing evidence based clinical services designed to meet each client’s individual needs.

SCREENINGS
We offer 15 -20 minute screenings for anyone concerned about their communication skills. The purpose of a screening is to determine if further evaluation is needed. A screening is NOT used to diagnose or treat a communication disorder.
Preschool screenings can be scheduled and usually occur in the Fall.
EVALUATIONS
An evaluation is usually conducted prior to the development of a plan of care. The evaluation can take at least 90 minutes (but can take longer or be conducted over the course of a few days) and consists of an interview, diagnostic testing, observation, and review of pertinent records.
Therapy
A therapy plan is designed to meet each client's individual needs and consists of short and long term goals derived from the evaluation. The length of treatment is highly variable and will be discussed with the client and caregiver as progress is made. Treatment can occur at the office, in the client's home, or in other settings considered the client's natural environment (day care, preschool, babysitter's home, assisted living facility, etc.).
